Potential Side Effects
With any substance, however, there is naturally going to be questions as to the possible long-term side effects its use may pose. Concern has developed as to whether Lion’s Mane may worsen the symptoms of those who suffer from allergies or asthma.
Though these concerns may be valid, people with no such conditions do not need to fear. Lion’s Mane threatens no risk of addiction, tolerance withdrawal or receptor down regulation. Most studies done so far have been restricted to animals, and so far the results appear to show that the substance is very safe.
